The story so far…

Everyone deserves a home. And a place to plant a lemon tree, if they like.

I’m a housing advocate, design graduate, qualified colour consultant, four-time home renovator, and long-time believer that a home should be more than just four walls and a mortgage.

I know firsthand how owning a home changes everything. It’s not just about having your name on the title, it’s about putting down roots, creating stability, and building a base where your family and community can grow. It’s the BBQs, waving to the neighbours and the kids being part of a local sports team. It’s the small connections that anchor you and create a sense of belonging. It’s about being part of a community

For over 20 years, I worked in marketing and customer engagement for some of Australia’s most recognised financial services brands - ING, ANZ, BT, Zurich, and Acenda. I’ve spent my career learning how to understand people’s needs, cut through the noise, and create solutions that connect.

Somewhere between work and raising a family, I realised my skills in business, design, and people could combine to be of service and tackle one of the biggest challenges - to help create pathways to home ownership for everyday Australians.

These days, I’m exploring ideas, options, and collaborations in housing, from smarter ways to build, to policies that could unlock the dream of owning a home. I believe in combining the practical (budgets, materials, timelines) with the human (stability, dignity, and the ability to grow roots).

When I’m not talking about housing or design, you’ll probably find me hunting for a vintage sideboard on Marketplace, rearranging my lounge room ‘just to see’ or elbows deep in my garden.
